She was born Patricia Mae Andrzejewski on January 10th, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York. Pat grew up in Lindenhurst, Long Island and studied voice since elementary school. At the age of 19, she married her highschool sweetheart and they moved to Richmond VA where she worked as a bank clerk. In 1975 they moved back to New York, soon to be divorced. In 1977 Pat was discovered by Chrysalis Records talent scouts while singing cabaret at New York's Catch A Rising Star club. She was immediately signed by the label. In the same year, Pat recruits Neil Giraldo who put together a band for the recording of her first album. In 1979 Pat's first album In The Heat Of The Night was released and soon after went straight to #12 on the charts. Her 1st single Heartbreaker reached #23. Also reaching high on the charts where the songs We Live For Love and You Better Run. In 1980 Crimes Of Passion was released and hit #2. Hit Me With Your Best Shot reached #9 and the video for You Better Run was the 2nd ever to air on MTV. In 1981 Pat won her first of four consecutive Grammy's for Best Rock Performance Female. Also in that year, her 3rd album Precious Time came out and went straight to #1 Fire And Ice and Promises In The Dark did well on the charts. February of 1982, Pat marries Neil Giraldo in Maui. In November of the same year, Get Nervous was released. Shadows Of The Night was in the top 15, and the album reached #3 in early 1983. In 1983, Live From Earth came out, it was Pat's first live performance album. Love Is A Battlefield hit #5 and the album reaches #13. 1984 brought the album Tropico and it hit #14 on the charts and it spawned the top 5 single, We Belong.

      In 1985, Seven The Hard Way is released and hits #26. Included on the album is the top ten single, Invincible which was the theme for the film The Legend Of Billie Jean. Also in 85, She gave birth to her first daughter Haley Egeana Giraldo. In 1988 Wide Awake In Dremland came out and reaches #28. The single All Fired Up hit #19 on the charts. 1989, Best Shots was released, which featured all of Pat's best music up to that point. 1991 Pat releases her critically acclaimed blues record True Love. 1993 brings the album Gravity's Rainbow. In 1994, Pat gives birth to 2nd daughter, Hana Juliana Giraldo. In 1997 Pat signed on with a new record company, CMC International. The new album Innamorata was also released in the same year. 2003 brought the brand new album Go and a new dvd, Choice Cuts which includes all of the legendary rockers videos. Also released in the past few years were many compilation discs and 2 concert dvd's. Just goes to show you, Pat is still rockin!!
